Kelly Services is seeking a Facilities Maintenance associate for a local electronic manufacturer located in W.Melbourne, FL 32904
Schedule:
- Days: Monday - Friday
- Shifts
- 1st- 7am-3:30pm
- 2nd- 3:00pm-11:00pm
- $16/hr-$17/hour
- Coordinate with Facilities Supervisor/Lead to perform day-to-day work orders.
- Implement good housekeeping practices throughout the facility.
- Perform custodial duties including:
- Emptying trash
- Mopping cafeteria restrooms
- Replenishing paper products in restrooms
- Vacuuming office and high traffic areas
- Ensure janitorial supplies are stocked throughout the facility.
- Repair and maintain basic production equipment.
- Adhere to preventative maintenance schedules.
- Respond to facility emergencies as needed.
- Set-up and operate tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.
- Perform minor landscaping and hardscaping on exterior grounds.
- Assist with line and office moves, coordinating with Facilities Team Members.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and surrounding spaces.
- Usage of Manned Lift; Lift Training required.
- Use of eight-foot step ladder to perform various duties.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in a facilities, maintenance, or housekeeping role.
- Forklift and scissor lift certifications preferred; or ability to be certified.
- Knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and painting preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; basic computer skills required.
- Troubleshooting, assessment, and solution implementation skills.
- Ability to complete most tasks independently.
- OSHA training preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter, reliable, able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Hands-on team player accustomed to dynamic environments.
- Capability to prioritize and organize workload to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
