What's a typical day as a Facilities Technician I? You'll be:

• Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and systems including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
• Building partitions, making drywall repairs, and handling various structural maintenance tasks
• Troubleshooting and fixing faulty electrical switches, HVAC units, lighting, and unclogging drains
• Scheduling, directing, and overseeing outside contractors for repairs or upgrades
• Obtaining supplies and repair parts from distributors or store rooms
• Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently

• Are capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing manual labor
• Have experience using power and hand tools
