Description

Our well-established client in Markham has partnered with Kelly Services to recruit a Field Compensation Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis for approximately 6 – 8 months. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Ensure their Independent Sales Representatives are accurately paid for commissions, overrides, quarterly bonuses on premiums submitted and renewed, and they are paid according to established deadlines.
  • Provide prompt and accurate response to our Independent Sales Representatives via the Regional Administrators.
  • Verify all entries reflected on the bi-weekly statements are showing correct compensation prior to release.
  • Maintain Independent Sales Representatives accounts as per the time-period stipulated in their contract.
  • Proactively monitor and manage negative account balances held by agents to protect the company
  • Administer the Agent Advance Program using Excel and/or mainframe macros on a weekly basis including reconciliations and rectifying any problems.
  • Maintain and create new, existing macros for the department.
  • Log and adjust weekly control reports based on policy change information.
  • Ongoing monitoring of third-party activity processes (Third Party Management):
  • Preparation and distribution of weekly reports – New Third Party and Relationship (Coupa)
  • Updating of the Vendor Listing for Canada along with validation of database and updating of the supporting documentation (Contracts, Agreements, SOW)
  • Supporting the Vendor Risk Analyst with analysis and reconciliation of team vendors and activity
  • Assist with Payment (BuyNow) activities:
  • Assist the team with processing of payment vouchers (preparing supporting material, entering voucher for payment)
  • Support on the tracking of the payments and distribution of the costs to the business leads
  • Review existing processes for efficiency improvements and automation of tasks.
  • Support on Centralized Services processes:
  • Monitoring of the Scanning Services (Captiva Daily quality assessment), Reporting incidents and keeping team aware of the service
  • Assist team with the transition of files to One Drive
  • Inventory Reporting on physical and digital product/collateral (Vendor Portal Analysis and MOD platform availability)
  • Tracking of Vendor SLA's for Outsource providers.
  • Assist team with annual / quarterly activities (Iron Mountain, Records Management, Scanning, Indexing, Inventory Management)
  • Internal support:
  • Update corporate policies and compliance / risk management documentation as needed.
  • Assist with special project implementation (updating project decks, data validation, UAT testing support for team)
  • Ad hoc projects and reports according to the business needs and requirements.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

  • University Graduate, BA (Finance or Mathematics preferred).
  • Must have 3 years' work experience in a similar environment.
  • Strong Mathematics background with attention to detail, solid analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Accounting knowledge, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, etc.), advanced skills in Excel program.
  • Advanced ‘Microsoft Visual Basic' programming knowledge to implement & maintain Macros.
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task and complete assignments accurately and on time.
  • Must be sensitive to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various levels of management and sales administration.
  • Knowledge of French an asset.
  • Sales compensation design experience an asset.
  • PeopleSoft and Coupa experience an asset.
  • Self-motivated to work independently while working collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.
