Job Title: Field Service Representative
Direct Reports: 0 | Indirect Reports: 0
FLSA Status (US Only): Hourly Wage. O/T eligible.
Location: Point Comfort, Texas
Hourly Wage Target: $18-26/hr dependent on experience

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Field Service Representative to support operations and maintenance of water treatment systems at a customer site. This critical role involves hands-on work with various water treatment technologies, including:

  • Media Filtration
  • Softening
  • Reverse Osmosis (RO)
  • Ion Exchange (IX)
  • Ultrafiltration (UF)
Key Characteristics
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to consult with customer management and operations teams
  • Commitment to safety and contract compliance for volume and quality specifications
  • Ability to perform maintenance, calibration, and equipment optimization
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems including valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
  • Operate and optimize water treatment systems to ensure peak performance
  • Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
  • Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO?, O?, SDI, TOC, and other site-specific tests
  • Maintain proper documentation and provide technical reports of work performed
  • Manage on-site inventory including spare parts, chemicals, and replacement components
  • Adhere to all company and customer safety protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Required:
  • Ability to work independently and in remote environments
  • Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred:
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial settings such as refineries or chemical plants
  • Background in electrical, mechanical, or chemical systems
  • Forklift operation experience
Education & Experience
Required:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of service or maintenance experience in an industrial environment
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Working Conditions
  • Minimal travel within the area (may include training or support at other sites)
  • Regular interaction with water treatment chemicals
  • Physical work environment requiring lifting and on-site activity
