Finance Manager, Operations
Sunnyvale, CA
Temporary - 3 months
$85-90/hr


Kelly is seeking a Finance Manager, Operations to work with our client, a leader in the biotech industry, on a temporary basis anticipated for 3 months. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a growing company that uses cutting-edge technologies to improve patient outcomes globally!

The Finance Manager will concentrate on global financial planning and control within supply chain, service supply chain, and contract manufacturing operations. Apply today for immediate consideration!

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to align Operations Finance goals with the priorities of the Global Supply Chain.
  • Lead efforts to enhance cost reductions, such as PPV, VAVE, T&L, and indirect savings.
  • Become the Finance Subject Matter Expert for our Service Supply Chain and BioChip operations as these new entities develop.
  • Supervise and assist the team's growth to provide exceptional business support.
  • Take part in designing and building the working capital reporting and data model.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with inventory key controls.
  • Emphasize cost accounting as a crucial aspect of operations.
  • Conduct financial analysis for operations, leveraging strong inventory experience with reconciliations, cycle counts, and forecasting.
  • Utilize SAP and Excel for managing extensive workbooks and financial reconciliations.
  • Handle instruments, supply planning, service supply chain, freight, warranty, and cycle counts.
  • Perform standard accounting and finance tasks, focusing on fundamental duties.
  • Manage month-end closings and forecasting processes.
  • Support the Annual Operating Plan preparation in future cycles.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or Master's degree with 6 years of experience required.
  • Cost accounting expertise is required.
  • Previous experience in operations, manufacturing, or cost environments required.
  • Strong background in financial analysis for operations.
  • Skilled in inventory forecasting, reporting, and modeling.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Excel is required.
  • Prior experience with continuous improvement, kaizens, lean principles, and working capital reporting is preferred.
