Description

Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Remote
Pay:  $45 an hour
Duration:  3-4 months with potential for extension

Position Overview:
Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented an experienced Financial Analyst to provide project financial support. The successful candidate will play a critical role in tracking financial performance, managing vendor communications, and ensuring accurate alignment of invoices, purchase orders, and project milestones. This position requires strong SAP navigation skills, experience working with vendor accounts, financial reporting expertise, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track project financials, including budgets, expenditures, and forecasts.

  • Review outstanding purchase orders (POs) to determine remaining balances.

  • Navigate SAP to retrieve, track, and export financial data for reporting and analysis.

  • Compare vendor invoices against project milestones and scope of work changes.

  • Establish and maintain communication with vendors, including those with historically limited engagement.

  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate financial documentation.

  • Organize and analyze financial data to forecast project performance and provide insights to leadership.

  • Create and maintain reports using Excel and other financial reporting tools.

  • Support continuous process improvements in financial tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Project Management (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in vendor management.

  • Strong proficiency in SAP, including navigation, data extraction, and reporting.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.

  • Ability to analyze complex data and present clear, actionable insights.

  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and internal stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in project financial management.

  • Experience with forecasting and budget management.

  • Familiarity with milestone-based financial tracking.
