12-hour night shift and 12-hour day shift schedules available
If you're looking for a permanent Flexo Press Operator role, look no further! Kelly, in partnership with a large warehousing organization, is looking for a Flexo Press Operator in Sandston, VA! Our client is growing and adding skilled technicians to their existing maintenance team!
This is a direct hire Flexo Press Operator position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Position Information:
• Set up flexo printing press correctly within the scheduled time and ensure efficient changeovers.
• Operate the press safely and maintain or exceed allotted production speed, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor print quality, mix and match inks, and identify or correct print defects during operation.
• Oversee the quality of all products produced, manage waste, and record waste figures accurately.
• Communicate with employees regarding product quality, break times, overtime, and when to sell or reject products.
• Ensure accurate completion of production documentation, ERP system procedures, and handling of pallet samples.
• Uphold safety standards for the crew, enforcing company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Provide training to employees when possible and perform other assigned duties, including overtime and weekend work as needed.
Required Experience:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of experience working with wide web flexo printing press equipment
• Demonstrate leadership and initiative while effectively working as part of a team
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts including overtime and weekend work as scheduled
