Kelly Professional & Light Industrial is looking for a Forklift Operator to work at a premier Food Manufacturing company in Commerce, CA. Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career, all while being a vital part of your community.

Shift and Pay Rate:
1st Shift- 7:00AM- 3:30PM (Mon- Friday and some weekends)
$22.00 per hour (Temp to Hire)

What's a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You'll be:

  • Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery and pickup according to schedule.
  • Prepare pallets according to prescribed work standards, stacking and tagging.
  • Maintain shipping supplies to ensure orders ship on schedule.
  • Safely operate forklift equipment and machineries as specified in zero tolerance policy.
  • Receive and process inbound materials.
  • Maintain inventory control, ensuring accuracy in item count and location.
  • Load and unload trucks in accordance with standard work and safety protocols.
  •  Inspect incoming and outgoing material to ensure quality, quantity, and item accuracy.
  • Do cycle count, relabeling, sampling as directed.
  • Do discards, palletization, repalletization as directed.
  • Prepare records and reports as required.
  • Proper handling of Allergen products and equipment according to Allergen Control Procedures.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Have basic computer knowledge; Use of Microsoft Office products and SAP software preferred
  • Have 1 yr. Manufacturing Warehouse experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility
  • Have 1 yr. experience in lift truck operation and safety certification preferred.
  • Are able to lift up-to 60 pounds occasionally
  • Are willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
