Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-Time- Temp to Hire Opportunity
- Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas
- Pay Rate: $17.00 an hour until hired on and then move to $18.50
- Shift: 3:30PM-Midnight
- Overtime Potential
- Safely and accurately receive, store, and ship food products using a variety of equipment, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Load and unload freight efficiently to facilitate product movement.
- Stack, store, pick, and assemble orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy and preventing damage.
- Operate equipment in line with OSHA standards to maintain safety.
- Meet production benchmarks while keeping the work environment tidy.
- Perform inventory tasks, cleaning, and maintenance duties, such as forklift battery changes.
- Work comfortably at heights up to 30 ft., and tolerate temperature variations from 15 degrees Fahrenheit indoors to outdoor conditions with heat, cold, and precipitation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, evenings, and weekends.
- Adhere to attendance policies and show punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Physical capability to operate forklifts and handle objects up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and heights.
- Willingness to stand up to 5 hours in an 8-hour shift and transfer products over short distances without assistance.
