Forklift Operator (Box Clamp Experience Required)
Pay: $20.00/hour
Location: Rincon, GA 31326
Shift: 1st Shift
Summary:
We are seeking experienced forklift operators with box clamp experience for our busy warehouse in Rincon. This role involves operating material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklifts and box clamp equipment safely
- Stack and store goods in designated areas
- Unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy
- Pick products according to customer service standards
- Transfer items from staging/storage areas to trailers
- Maintain records to ensure inventory control and security
- Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts
- Report and help resolve inventory discrepancies
- Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation
- Use RF scanning equipment for inventory accuracy
- Follow safety procedures and promptly report concerns
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- At least 3 months of forklift experience, including box clamp usage
- Able to stand or walk for 10-12 hours and lift/pull up to 50 lbs
- Regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach
- Comfortable working in environments with variable noise, lighting, and temperature
- Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Attention to detail, strong communication and customer service skills, and basic math skills
- Able to use Excel and general computer applications
- Must complete onsite forklift certification
