Job Title: Front Desk Administrative Assistant / Customer Experience Coordinator
Pay Range: $23–$26 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
Location: Farmington, CT

Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Administrative Assistant / Customer Experience Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. This temp-to-perm position plays a key role in creating a positive first impression, while providing administrative support to the Sales and Marketing teams, assisting with customer experience initiatives, CRM management, and event coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Switchboard Operations:

  • Greet and assist visitors, customers, and employees with professionalism and enthusiasm.

  • Answer and direct incoming calls via the main switchboard promptly and efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate visitor records and manage security protocols, including visitor badging and access control.

  • Coordinate daily food service schedules, as needed.

  • Operate laser marker machines (or similar equipment) to create visitor badges and promotional giveaways.

Customer Experience & Administrative Support:

  • Support customer experience efforts, including preparing giveaways, creating standard greetings, and ensuring consistent visitor interactions.

  • Assist with planning and execution of customer events, in-house functions, and trade shows.

  • Help maintain lead data and support sales processes within the CRM system.

  • Provide administrative support for special projects and assist the Applications Team with time study request coordination.

  • Prepare and send sales quotations using CRM and other software tools.

  • Offer general administrative assistance to executives and other departments as assigned.

Schedule:

  • Availability required: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a front desk, administrative, or customer service role preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software (experience with C4C or similar systems a plus).

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • A customer-centric mindset and a professional, proactive attitude.
