Project Work – General Laborer

Location: Cortland Manufacturer
Rate of Pay: $18/hr.
Shift: 1st Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to assist with industrial project work. This role is hands-on and primarily involves cleaning, power washing, and occasional painting tasks within a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and able to follow directions precisely. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, debris removal, and surface cleaning in industrial areas.
• Operate power washers and other equipment to clean machinery, floors, and structures.
• Assist with surface preparation and apply paint as needed under supervision.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Support other labor tasks as assigned by the site supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in general labor or industrial cleaning preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment and with cleaning agents.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions.
