Material Handler – General Labor (Forklift Operator)
Location: Fulton, MO
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (will transition to 4x10s schedule)
Pay Rate: $17–$18 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler (Forklift Operator) to join our team. This role involves supporting general warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient movement and organization of lumber and other materials. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating forklifts, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs independently, performing general cleaning, and unloading truck pallets safely and efficiently.
The Material Handler plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Once the facility is fully operational, the individual will transition into a Sorter position, responsible for sorting materials and supporting advanced warehouse functions. Primary Responsibilities:
- Unload truck pallets and transport materials throughout the facility using a forklift.
- Perform general cleaning and upkeep of lumber storage areas and warehouse.
- Safely operate forklifts for efficient handling and organization of materials.
- Assist with building organization, setup, and maintenance tasks as required.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs independently.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Support inventory management and material staging as needed.
- Transition into Sorter role to assist with sorting and categorizing materials once initial setup is complete.
- Perform other general labor tasks as assigned.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Experience in material handling, general labor, or warehouse environments preferred.
- Forklift operating experience is required; valid certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and transition to a 4x10 schedule.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
