Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Spanish Bilingual
This is a one year contract that could possibly become permanent

Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist performs a wide range of HR-related duties and works closely with HR management to support multiple locations. This individual manages orientation, onboarding, policy interpretation and enforcement, employee relations, performance management, training, employee records, benefits and HRIS administration, and ensures employment law compliance in alignment with company principles and objectives. This role offers standard hours of 7am–4pm (with flexibility for earlier or later start/end, especially for 2nd shift coverage as needed), and the option for a slight hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 remote).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary resource for employees regarding company HR policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and ensure onboarding tasks are completed.
  • Support payroll by verifying and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Address employee inquiries about policies, benefits, and HR concerns.
  • Support employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.
  • Assist with investigations and recommend solutions for review by HR leadership.
  • Maintain employee records in the HCM system, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Deliver training and support performance management efforts for employees and managers.
  • Oversee leave of absence management, adhering to federal and state guidelines.
  • Coordinate employee separations, including exit interviews and notifications to relevant parties.
  • Aid in developing and executing HR initiatives to improve workplace culture and satisfaction.
  • Participate in HR projects, including employee wellness and performance management initiatives.
  • Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all HR policies and legal standards.
  • Adhere to company policies, employee handbook, and employment agreements.
  • Follow safety guidelines and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years HR Generalist experience.
  • Thorough understanding of HR policies, procedures, and federal/state employment law.
  • Proficiency in HCM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable working with diverse populations and at all organizational levels.
