HRIS/Payroll Administrator

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Onsite in West Branch, Iowa

$26.00-$30.00/HR DOE

6 Month Contract with possible extension to hire

About: We are seeking a temporary HRIS/Payroll Administrator. This is a new position and is mainly due to the increased growth, multiple company payrolls, including in Canada, and the need for shadow payrolls due to increase in short term assignees from other countries.

Position Summary:
As a temporary HRIS & Payroll Administrator, you will support our People & Culture and Payroll teams with a range of administrative, reporting, and systems-related tasks. You will play a key role in supporting shadow payroll processes for international employees working in the U.S., ensuring data integrity in Workday, and assisting with audits, inquiries, and reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, system proficiency, and the ability to manage confidential information with professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with shadow payroll processing for international employees on U.S. assignments.
  • Support HRIS data maintenance, auditing, and reporting in Workday.
  • Support the implementation of ADP Workforce Now- Canada.
  • Run and distribute ad hoc reports from Workday and/or ADP WFN.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as document retrieval, organizing files, and preparing for audits or internal inquiries.
  • Help ensure P&C, payroll, and compliance documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborate with internal P&C, Payroll, and Global Mobility teams as needed.
  • Provide general support for process improvements and documentation efforts.


Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, or HRIS support roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HRIS (reporting, auditing, data maintenance).
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential data with professionalism and discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN).
  • Familiarity with shadow payroll processes or global mobility payroll concepts.
  • Experience working in multi-national organizations or shared services environments.
  • Exposure to or experience with Workday Integrations (e.g., troubleshooting, testing, or supporting inbound/outbound feeds).
  • Basic knowledge of or prior involvement in benefits administration (e.g., enrollments, audits, vendor files).
