Pay Rate: $32.09 per hour

What's a typical day as Human Resource Coordinator–Employee Relations? You'll be:
  • Conducting investigations from start to finish and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
  • Managing benefits administration, payroll functions, and employee relations.
  • Serving as a primary contact for employees to promote a positive workplace environment.
  • Assisting in resolving employee relations issues and supporting follow-up of employee complaints.
  • Collaborating with HR leadership and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Promoting employee engagement initiatives and clear communication of HR updates.
  • Facilitating onboarding tasks and coordinating new hire orientation sessions.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Associates degree or higher or equivalent education
  • A minimum of two (2) years of professional human resources experience in any combination of the following: recruitment, employee engagement, human resource planning and policy development, HRIS and employee data systems and related field
  • Knowledge of Human Resources function
  • Experience conducting investigations from start to finish.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively use personnel-related software programs and databases and learn and incorporate new software programs into operations.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system is required, preferably Colleague by Ellucian.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and work cooperatively and courteously with a broad spectrum of college employees, job applicants, and the general public
  • Skill in both written and verbal communication
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
