Kelly Services is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to work for an electronic manufacturer located in W. Melbourne, FL 32904
Pay rate: $28- $35/hour depending on experience.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Type: Temp to perm
Summary: The candidate MUST have prior manufacturing or distribution experience, be extremely comfortable interacting on the production floor with employees on a daily basis and have a background in addressing and resolving low-level employee relations issues with individuals and/or supervisors. The HR Generalist will be responsible for scheduling and delivering compliance training, working on various HR projects like employee satisfaction surveys and employee events, conducting new hire orientation, assisting with some talent management, and performing various administrative duties.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management (required)
- 4+ years of HR experience
- SHRM certification a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with supervisors/managers
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Experience in employee relations and recruiting
- Creating a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections
- Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and warning letters
- Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
- Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records
- Creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approvals, and initiating activities
- Collaborating with outside vendors, upper management, and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities
- Evaluating employee performance and appraising their pay scale accordingly
- Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances
