Financial Analyst
Location: 17th Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30363
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM (In-office 2-3 days per week)
Pay: $39.50/hr
Summary
Kelly is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to gather, interpret, and analyze financial data to inform key business decisions. This position utilizes quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and business partnering skills to deliver insights and recommendations. The Financial Analyst communicates findings to clients and stakeholders and directly supports the business case analysis process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative analyses of financial information affecting investment programs and business strategies.
- Assemble spreadsheets, charts, and graphs to support technical reports and presentations.
- Analyze and interpret data affecting business trends, price, yield, and investment risk.
- Prepare, present, and communicate both oral and written reports to internal and external audiences, including general economic trends and organization-specific findings.
- Partner with business units to support strategic decision-making through effective financial modeling and scenario planning.
- Support business case analysis and recommend actions based on data-driven assessments.
- Forecast future revenues and expenses, and analyze business trends for planning purposes.
- Bachelor's degree minimum in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in financial analysis, modeling, or accounting.
- Demonstrated ability to perform advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Proven experience in business partnering and supporting decision-making across departments.
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills; able to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial audiences.
- Experience in business case analysis or similar financial strategy work is highly preferable.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related financial software.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Finance, etc.) is desirable but not required.
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and data reporting.
This role is primarily office-based with the flexibility to work in person 2-3 days per week at our Atlanta office.
