Requirements and Responsibilities for Forklift Driver:
- Must have 1yr. or more of driving a sit-down forklift in a warehouse setting
- Operating hand trucks
- Organizing and transporting boxes
- Loading and unloading materials using a sit-down forklift
- Ensuring safe and efficient use of the forklift in various environments
- Performing routine checks and maintenance of the forklift
- Assisting with inventory management and documentation
- Supporting general warehouse duties, including housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment
- Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands, and handle or feel objects
- Occasionally lift/move boxes weighing approximately 30 pounds each
- You will be operating the forklift for approximately 3 hours per day
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work standing, stooping, bending, walking, arm and wrist movement
