Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a talented and motivated Immunology Scientist (In Vivo) near Rochester, MN.

Job Type: Direct Hire
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000/year + sign-on bonus Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute in vivo studies using laboratory mice, including experimental planning, protocol development, procedure execution, and downstream analysis.
  • Collaborate with research scientists to develop and implement in vivo experiments, contributing to study design, sample size estimation, and statistical analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain study documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reports, and accurate records.
  • Conduct detailed observations and measurements to evaluate experimental treatments' physiological and clinical effects, ensuring precise data collection.
  • Administer test articles and collect biological samples following established protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional animal care and use protocols.
  • Independently design in vitro studies, conducting a range of assays, including cytokine analysis and flow cytometry, while ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Provide conceptual input on experimental design and mentor junior team members.
  • Coordinate research activities with multidisciplinary scientific teams in cross-functional projects.
  • Collect, analyze, and present scientific findings in reports and presentations to research and management teams, including recommendations for next steps.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • A proven publication record in immunology, gene therapy, or molecular biology, along with excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • PhD in immunology, cancer biology, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of industry experience in immunology, in vivo oncology, or pharmacology.
  • Strong laboratory and analytical skills, with demonstrated expertise in developing and executing experiments related to immuno-oncology.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various animal models for evaluating the efficacy and safety of CAR-T cell therapy or oncolytic virotherapy.
  • Deep understanding of the current landscape of cell and gene therapy and its associated challenges, with experience utilizing animal models to assess therapeutic effectiveness and safety.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented matrix environment to meet project timelines and deliverables.
