Overview:
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for supporting operational efficiency through data analysis, process documentation, and coordination across teams. This role ensures accurate data handling, maintains confidentiality, supports tier 2 meetings, and assists with process improvement through technology tools like Power Automate and Power BI. The position also includes conducting factory inspections, applying basic engineering principles, and monitoring process control measures to ensure compliance with established standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting

Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to support decision-making.

Provide data insights for tier 2 meetings and leadership reviews.

SOP Management
-
Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current best practices.

Ensure SOPs are communicated effectively and followed consistently across departments.

Data Entry & Management
-
Input and maintain accurate data in company systems.

Validate data integrity through routine checks and corrective measures.

Technology & Automation
-
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, analysis, and presentations.

Develop and implement process automation solutions using Power Automate.

Meetings & Communication
-
Prepare agendas, data reports, and follow-up actions for tier 2 meetings.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on action plans.

Confidentiality & Compliance
-
Handle sensitive company and customer information with strict confidentiality.

Adhere to all company policies and data protection regulations.

Factory Inspection & Process Control
-
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled factory inspections to verify compliance with operational standards.

Monitor process control metrics, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.

Technical Skills
-
Use measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify specifications.

Apply basic knowledge of engineering principles and tools in problem-solving and process improvement.

Maintain advanced working knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

Maintain a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for Flex machines.
Skills & Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with Power BI (data modeling, visualization, DAX) and Power Automate big plus.

Basic understanding of engineering concepts, tools, and process improvement methods.

Ability to use precision measuring instruments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles is a plus.
Education & Experience:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in data analysis, process documentation, or manufacturing operations support.
