Job Summary
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing inventory cycle counts, collaborating with counters, and entering results into SAP. This role involves performing root cause analysis and closing counts while maintaining a high level of accuracy in inventory management, working 1st shift hours with occasional over-time.
Key Responsibilities
• Print off inventory cycle counts and work with counters.
• Enter inventory results into SAP; proficiency in SAP is strongly preferred
• Conduct root cause analysis and close inventory counts.
• Implement inventory audits and related transactions to measure accuracy.
• Compile inventory audit requirements in collaboration with Deere and other companies.
• Generate reports on inventory status and accuracy.
• Supervise and direct the work of cycle counters and inventory analysts.
• Monitor and coordinate various manufacturing and materials processes to ensure functionality, such as the Return Goods Authorization (RGA) process and cycle counting.
• Address inventory-related questions and issues, participating in factory teams to improve inventory turns and accuracy.
• Coordinate and analyze daily, monthly, and annual inventory audits, including engine audits.
• Prepare and review perpetual inventory reports.
• Provide direction and coaching to personnel
• Work on the floor 50% of the time but not physically moving parts
Qualifications
• Education: Degree preferred or a high school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of experience in inventory within a manufacturing setting.
• Experience:
o Required experience in inventory management (in a manufacturing setting) and root cause corrective action analysis.
o Relevant warehouse/manufacturing experience (cycle counts, forklift, shipping/receiving).
o Experience in an administrative/data entry role is essential, proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
