Jr. HR Representative (Workday Specialist) – Deerfield, IL
Pay Rate: $40.00/hr
Schedule: Day shifts, Hybrid (on-site 3 days/week)
Kelly Services is seeking an enthusiastic Jr. HR Representative to join our team in Deerfield, IL. This hybrid role is ideal for candidates passionate about HR technology, specifically Workday Payroll, Absence, Scheduling & Time Tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and support Workday Time Tracking and Absence for large organizations (manufacturing preferred).
- Gather requirements, design, prototype, and test Workday systems from Time Tracking and Absence through Payroll.
- Build and maintain Workday Reporting & Analytics.
- Manage scheduling and attendance tracking processes with complex requirements.
- Maintain and enhance Absence Plans, Time Entry Templates, Time Calculations, Time Entry Codes, Eligibility Rules, Accrual Calculations, Business Processes, Custom Reports, Calculated Fields, and EIBs.
- Handle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to foster confidence and trust.
- Minimum 3 years' experience with Workday Time Tracking, Absence configurations, and Payroll integration (preferably in manufacturing).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Workday Reporting & Analytics.
- Knowledge of scheduling and attendance tracking complexities.
- Strong communication skills—both written and oral.
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Workday Time Tracking & Absence certification is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are helpful but not required.
