Description

Kelly Services is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst for a 6-month temporary opportunity with our client, a respected organization in Niagara Falls, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly executive reporting packages
  • Post month-end journal entries, reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
  • Perform monthly variance analysis and forecasting
  • Assist with audits and prepare working papers
  • Contribute to annual budget development and salary/benefits calculations

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field
  • Actively working towards a CPA designation (CA, CMA, or CGA)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance/accounting or
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, KRONOS, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to manage competing deadlines and deliver quality results
  • A background check will be required
