Description
Kelly Services is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst for a 6-month temporary opportunity with our client, a respected organization in Niagara Falls, ON.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly executive reporting packages
- Post month-end journal entries, reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
- Perform monthly variance analysis and forecasting
- Assist with audits and prepare working papers
- Contribute to annual budget development and salary/benefits calculations
Qualifications:
- University degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field
- Actively working towards a CPA designation (CA, CMA, or CGA)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance/accounting or
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, KRONOS, etc.)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Adaptability to manage competing deadlines and deliver quality results
- A background check will be required
