Job Description:
Join our culinary team as a Line Cook in a hospital setting in Lihue, Hawaii. This important role involves preparing meals for patients, staff, and visitors, following specific dietary requirements and hospital standards. You will contribute to a safe, sanitary, and positive environment, ensuring nutritious and appealing food is served daily.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to hospital recipes and dietary guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with food service staff for efficient and timely meal service
• Adhere to strict health, safety, and food handling regulations
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Take direction from kitchen supervisors and hospital nutritionists

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a line cook preferred; experience in healthcare or hospital kitchens a plus
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
• Must pass background check and drug test
