Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: Competitive Pay
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Location: Remote – Must be located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone!
*within reasonable distance from our Greenville, SC, Pensacola, FL, or Schenectady, NY offices is preferred*

What's a typical day as a Logistics Router? You'll be:
• Schedule/Plan all outbound component shipments to Project Sites and transit yards to include carrier coordination, document preparation, tracking and delivery confirmation of all shipments • Communicate with various parts of the supply chain, providing status updates and reports of shipments to suppliers, carriers, buyers, and operations leaders as needed
• Analyze GE demand plan and sourcing equipment Line of Balance to identify appropriate carrier and equipment type to execute required delivery timeline of all wind turbine components
• Collaborate with sourcing team or source transportation suppliers as needed to meet all delivery timelines and transportation requirements
• Provide carrier performance feedback to sourcing team for proper management of carriers
• Update and maintain all systems of record with accurate, timely shipment information
• Proactive management of shipment schedules to meet all deliveries of components and all internal metric deliverables

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
•            High school diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or Project Management) or 4 years of related experience considered.
•            2+ years' experience with Over-Dimensional freight movement preferred
•            Able to connect and communicate across all levels of internal colleagues/stakeholders.
•            Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel, Moderate Proficiency in all other MS Office programs; Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
•            Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required to meet GE demand plan
