MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job summary

Is responsible for Utilizing specialized skill sets to support the Maintenance and Production Team and optimal operating condition of a variety of equipment and Facilities and grounds. Must be proficient in basic problem solving, troubleshooting skills, and working with Safety, Quality policies, to include Good Manufacturing Practices.

Work between the hours of 6pm-6am, Monday-Friday
Starting pay $26-32/hr DOE
 
Job Requirements
Responsibilities  

•    Be able to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment (hydraulic dock levelers, Vertical Lift Modules, tray erectors, lidding machines, conveyors, scales, scanners, cameras, variable frequency drives, etc).
•    This position requires excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
•    Knowledge of coding/PLCs is a plus.
•    Must be proficient in reading and comprehending electrical connection diagrams and schematics.
•    Will utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers in the performance of duties.
•    Will occasionally be required to operate dock trucks, reach trucks, stock pickers, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
•    Will be required to wear applicable personal protective equipment (including arc flash protection gear), and follow rules and regulations related to a detailed lockout/tagout (LOTO) program.
•    Must be detail oriented and a self-starter with a positive attitude.
•    Knowledge of plumbing, fabrication, refrigeration, etc. technical skills are a plus.
•    General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus.
•    Working knowledge of a (CMMS) computerized maintenance management systems (specifically Maximo) is a plus.
•    This position will also require the ability to complete job specific tasks associated with maintenance facilities such as maintaining dock doors/levelers, freezer doors, high speed overhead doors, mechanical repairs to AC and DC conveyors, sorters, diverters, transfers Ect..

Minimum requirements
•    Must have basic tools and electrical voltmeter to complete job task.
•    Strong problem-solving and Troubleshooting skills.
•    Knowledge of interpreting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
•    Must be willing to work all shift, including holidays and weekends.
•    Knowledge of Bagging and Palletizing Equipment is a plus.
•    Strong Communication skills.
•    Some welding experience.
