$20 per hour
Monday-Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm. Some OT on Saturdays when needed.

What's a typical day as a Machine Operator?
- Operate machines to produce food products--the Calhoun facility uses state of the art technology to make bread crumbs and food batter for fried food products.
- Report any deficiency of ingredients or issues with the line.
- Responsible for the quality and safety of the product and for maintaining high efficiency of the line.
- Complete pre-op inspections, quality, and safety check points.
- Operate forklift to move finished product
- Perform lock out and tag out procedures
- Participate in safety initiatives, committees, and teams.
- Adhere to all Food Safety/Quality SOP's while also accurately completing required Food Safety & Quality records.
- Enter transactions using computer into SAP.
- Practice GMPs.

Apply for this job if you:
- Have at least 6 months machine operation experience within the past 3 years. Food production experience strongly preferred.
- Have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Can walk up to 135 feet one way many times a day.
- Can continuously stand/walk during entire shift.
- Can climb stairs and ladders.
- Can kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work
- Have the ability to lift 50 pounds continuously throughout shift.
- Can work some Saturdays (as needed).
- **Kerry Foods is a smoke and tobacco-free facility. Tobacco and smoking is prohibited on-site, including on breaks and in vehicles.
- **No jewelry (rings, earrings, nose rings, lip rings, studs, watch), no false eyelashes, no hair extensions, no false fingernails, no fingernail polish and no chewing gum, food, drinks or cell phone on the floor.
