Machine Operator
$20.00/hr.
2nd Shift M-F 2pm-10:30pm

If you're looking for a Machine Operator position, look no further! Kelly, in partnership with a client in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a Machine Operator in Lebanon, OH.  This is a temporary to hire opportunity.

Position Information:
• Ensure all work is performed with safety as the top priority and adhere to plant safety regulations, PPE requirements, and SOPs.
• Operate molding machines, block molding machines, and cutting equipment; continuously monitor machine performance, material feed, cycle times, and output quality.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications, minimize material waste, and perform inspections of finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines, document production data accurately including material usage and output volumes and maintain organized machine logs.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality control teams to promptly resolve equipment or process issues.
• Help with mold changes, machine setups, material preparation, loading/unloading of molded blocks, and perform physical tasks like lifting and moving products.
• Train new machine operators and production helpers and participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Keep the production environment clean, organized, and hazard-free, while performing any additional duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager.

Required Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
• Prior experience in manufacturing environment (machine operation, production, etc.) required
• Forklift certification preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and machine/equipment troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
