Position Summary:
The Machine Operator works in a team environment to set up and operate a production line according to customer specifications. The role is responsible for maintaining machine quality, minimizing waste, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Set up and adjust machine components based on customer orders and work order specifications.
Operate machinery to produce products that fulfill customer requirements.
Monitor machine operation, gauges, meters, and controls to ensure safety, quality, and uniformity.
Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
Conduct periodic product quality checks using measuring tape, machine calipers, and gauges.
Complete and maintain accurate records related to waste, downtime, maintenance, and efficiency.
Identify and report problems related to products or processes.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area by following 6S organizational standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
6–12 months of related experience
Familiarity with small hand tools and basic machine controls

High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
6–12 months of experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment

Willingness to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols consistently
