Description

We are seeking a dedicated Molding Operator, producing high-quality optical components to join our team and contribute to our success.  This is a temp-hire position on 1st shift, located in Henrietta and is not bus accessible.   General Role:
As a Molding Operator, you will be responsible for producing parts that meet our stringent quality standards. You will operate assigned molding machines, following production guidelines, packaging products, maintaining accurate production records, and performing visual inspections to ensure product quality.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections of molded parts according to the Quality Plan.
• Operate molding machines, following established procedures.
• Degate parts using sidecutters or CNC mill (as required).
• Package products according to specified requirements.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the molding cell.
• Fill material hoppers to ensure continuous operation.
• Keep accurate documentation of rejects and hours worked.
• Provide relief/backup operation support as needed.
• Adhere to company documentation and ISO 9001/ ISO 13485 quality system requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous molding or optical cosmetic inspection experience is preferred.
• Excellent visual acuity is essential.
