Job Title: Machine Operator – Polishing Helper (2nd Shift)
Location: South Windsor, CT
Job Type: Temporary ~6 Weeks (with strong potential for permanent placement)
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience and performance)

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Entry-Level Machine Operator to assist with manual polishing of small parts in a manufacturing setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. No prior experience required – we provide full training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually polish small parts using a miniature spindle machine

  • Hold pressure on rotating parts and oscillate abrasive back and forth using a handheld holder

  • Perform repetitive polishing tasks (approx. 300 parts/day once trained)

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

  • Learn and adapt quickly to meet production goals

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive hand motions

  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

  • Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn

  • Must be available to work 2nd shift hours

Training & Duration:

  • Full training provided (typically mastered within 5 minutes)

  • Initial assignment is approximately 6 weeks

  • Strong potential for long-term employment based on performance and reliability
