This is a direct hire Machine Operator/Shear Operator position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Details:
• 2nd shift hours Monday – Friday from 3:00 pm-11:00 pm
• $25.52/hr. + $1.25/hr. shift differential
• Waukesha, WI
Position Responsibilities:
• Set-up and operation of shear
• Cutting steel and other materials to appropriate length based on work order
• Sorting steel and placing in sequential order
• Use overhead crane, forklift to stack, and move steel
• Perform minor machine repairs and maintenance
• Use SAP system to track steel, data entry of key information into SAP
Required Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with operation of shear, brake press, laser, saws, or other metal cutting equipment
• Prior experience with operation of forklift and overhead crane
• Ability to use measuring tools such as gauges, micrometers, tape measures
