At Kelly®, we're passionate about helping you find a job that works for you. We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to join our partner.

This role collaborates closely with the plant engineer, maintenance manager, and facility management to drive improvements in employee safety, production quality, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). You'll oversee both maintenance operations and capital projects, applying your mechanical and electrical expertise to keep production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds running efficiently.

Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $80K-90K
Bonus: 10% Quartely bonus
Schedule: 1st Shift, 6pm-6am, 2-2-3 schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across departments to enhance safety, quality, reliability, and OEE.

  • Supervise site maintenance activities and capital projects.

  • Maintain production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds using mechanical and electrical expertise.

  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules via a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

  • Ensure proper operation of utilities (refrigeration, electrical, steam, compressed air).

  • Implement corrective actions based on maintenance KPIs.

  • Stay current with industry regulations and codes; ensure compliance with corporate policies.

  • Complete and maintain records, technical documentation, incident reports, and investigations.

  • Promote and share maintenance best practices.

  • Monitor and enforce safety, food safety, and regulatory policies for employees, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

  • Manage, coach, and develop maintenance personnel, including performance management and training.

  • Support collective bargaining activities if applicable.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in Dairy, Food, or Beverage industry, or equivalent education/experience.

  • Prior supervisory experience required.

  • Strong knowledge of boilers, refrigeration, PLCs, electrical systems, cooling towers, ammonia compressors, and packaging equipment.

  • Skilled in electronics, instrumentation, electrical systems troubleshooting, reading schematics, and ladder logic.

  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
