Kelly Services, in collaboration with a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Syracuse, NY area. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire!
Salary:
- $28 - $30/hr (depending on experience)
Shift:
- 3rd shift: Sun – Wed or Mon – Thurs | 8:00pm-6:30am

Responsibilities:
- Maintain all production equipment and facility systems in reliable and safe operating condition through preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, modify, and repair support systems and equipment as needed.
- Perform installation of equipment following standard operating procedures.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and PLCs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and work orders.
- Work with internal and external entities to complete repairs and improvements on plant facilities and equipment.
- Understand the operation of production equipment and facility support systems to provide reliable equipment performance and minimal downtime.
- Coordinate downtime, troubleshooting, and repair with production departments.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and associated paperwork as assigned.
- Coordinate shutdown activities to ensure all planned activities are accomplished.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years' experience in trade or comparable training.
- Experience with equipment, machinery, and systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of GMPs preferred.
- Previous experience with PLC's is desired.
