Job Title: Manufacturing Technician I  Payrate : $27/HR Job Description: As a Manufacturing Technician I, you will be responsible for executing various tasks related to the manufacturing of biosensors, adhering to safety and quality protocols. Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with safety regulations, including proper PPE requirements.
  • Manufacturing Activities:
    • Perform hands-on manufacturing tasks, such as cutting, clamping, gluing, coiling, polishing, biosensor coating, backfilling, and packaging.
    • Execute production activities in strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
  • Preparation and Staging:
    • Stage and prepare for production activities, including lot number assignment and printing of batch records and labels.
  • ERP and Equipment Usage:
    • Use the ERP system to open, issue materials, and close production Work Orders.
    • Operate manufacturing equipment, such as pipets, balances, reagent filling machines, polishing, and coating machines.
  • Packaging and Inventory:
    • Perform final packaging of products post-Qualification Release.
    • Support inventory management by executing departmental tasks promptly, such as physical counts and reviewing parts before storing.
  • Quality and Hazard Management:
    • Report material non-conformities at any stage of the production process.
    • Support Hazwaste management and disposal activities.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Learn and implement new processes as required by New Product Introductions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or diploma in Life Sciences is a plus.
  • Basic skills in dilution and reagent preparation are advantageous.
  • Proficiency with laboratory instruments and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and data management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, including Work Orders entry and part issuance, is beneficial.
