Description

Material Handling/ Production and Assembly
Work for an established logistics company at a technology location in Hockley, Texas

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $21/hr
Positions start mid-May 2025
Will be training for at least 2 months 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday with some overtime
Must be flexible to work any day after training (5 day work week)

Typical Day Responsibilities:
•    Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management
•    Assemble and install servers and electronic components using hand and power tools
•    Load and unload freight to and from vehicles and containers
•    Perform quality checks on freight, ensuring accuracy and pristine condition
•    Execute inventory cycle counts and process return shipments
•    Operate material handling equipment like straddle stackers and electric pallet jacks
•    Install server racks and cabling with precision

Outstanding Fit Criteria:
•    Good interpersonal and customer service skills
•    Experience with computers and critical thinking abilities
•    Knowledgeable about electrical safety and static discharge protocols
•    Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented
•    Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
•    Good Hand tool and material handling experience is needed
•    6 in composite boots are required
