Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary:

We currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler / Forklift Driver to join our warehouse operations team in Charlotte, NC. This role plays a vital part in the efficient handling and movement of materials throughout the facility. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse logistics, forklift operation, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to safely load/unload trucks and move inventory within the facility

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming shipments

• Pick, stage, and prepare orders accurately for outbound delivery

• Support inventory management, including stock rotation and bi-monthly inventory counts

• Maintain clean work areas by disposing of empty pallets, shrink wrap, and other debris

• Assist with documentation for shipping and update inventory records as needed

• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures

• Collaborate with Warehouse and Dispatch Managers to complete daily tasks and special projects

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver's license

• Previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred

• Ability to lift and move materials, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods

• Must wear steel toe shoes and follow all PPE and safety regulations

• Adherence to company dress code: jeans (no holes) and appropriate shirts (no offensive graphics or language)
