Material Handler – General Labor

Location: Pooler, GA
Pay Rate: $16/hour (increases to $17/hour after 90 days upon direct hire)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Lunch: 30 minutes
Overtime: May be required

About the Role

Become an essential part of our warehouse team in Pooler, GA as a Material Handler! You'll help keep operations running smoothly by receiving, moving, and organizing large and heavy items, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload incoming shipments using hand, pallet jack, or cart
  • Safely load outgoing shipments
  • Move, rework, and organize items up to 75 pounds
  • Support warehouse upkeep: sweep, remove trash, organize aisles
  • Prep loads for shipping (no order picking required)
  • Keep work areas clean and hazard-free
  • Report damaged goods or safety concerns to supervisors
  • Adhere to warehouse safety standards and procedures
  • Occasionally assist with packing as needed
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Previous general labor or warehouse experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with packing and shipping processes is helpful
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds repetitively
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Consistent reliability and attendance
  • Safety-focused and detail-oriented
Physical Work Requirements
  • Ability to bend, squat, reach, and stand for up to 8 hours
  • Work in a warehouse with large open doors; no temperature control
  • Typical attire: tennis shoes with covered ankles, jeans, and standard warehouse wear
