Description: This is an onsite, full-day shift role ($30/hr, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM) supporting a major warehouse clean-up and reorganization project, with responsibilities in material handling, shipping/receiving, labeling, and racking—all while learning safe forklift operation.


Position Overview

  • We are seeking a dependable and motivated Temporary Warehouse Reorganization & Material Handling Associate to support a short-term warehouse improvement initiative. This role will play a key part in a large-scale warehouse clean-up and reorganization project, including the redesign of the parts cage area. The successful candidate will assist with reorganizing warehouse layouts, improving labeling systems, dismantling and rebuilding racking, and supporting day-to-day shipping and receiving activities
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with a comprehensive warehouse reorganization and clean-up project
  • Support the redesign and reconfiguration of the parts cage area
  • Perform general warehouse housekeeping duties, including sweeping, debris removal, and organizing materials
  • Build, tear down, and reconfigure warehouse racking and storage areas
  • Label parts, bins, racks, and locations to improve organization and inventory flow
  • Support receiving activities, including unloading shipments, verifying materials, and moving product to designated locations
  • Assist with shipping activities such as picking, staging, and preparing materials for outbound shipments
  • Safely move materials throughout the warehouse using approved material handling equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures and warehouse best practices
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and project leads to meet project timelines

Training & Safety
  • All employees in this role will receive the required safety training, including:
  • Forklift operation
  • Proper material handling techniques
  • Warehouse safety standards and procedures
  • Strict adherence to safety policies is expected at all times.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous warehouse, material handling, or general labor experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and contribute effectively to a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when labeling, organizing, and handling parts
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential

The assignment is temporary for up to 3 months and starts ASAP with interviews via Microsoft Teams.
