Position: Material Handler
Location: Concord, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday |  7:30AM - 4:00PM
Pay Rate: $24.00/HR
 

What's a Typical Day as a Material Handler? You'll Be:
  • Managing inventory by using a barcode scanner to receive material.
  • Pulling material from rack locations according to a pick sheet and preparing them for outbound shipment.
  • Coordinating deliveries and pick-ups of equipment by communicating with internal and external couriers.
  • Loading and unloading materials from trucks and placing materials in proper locations.
  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Inspecting materials for damage and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Assisting in cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and quality standards.
This Job Might Be an Outstanding Fit If You:
  • Must have a valid driver's license - the position will require some driving after being converted to a direct employee (temp-to-hire position).
  • Must be comfortable using a computerized inventory management system and have experience with email and internet for shipment tracking.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to perform additional duties as needed.
  • Have previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
  • Are physically capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
