Materials Coordinator
Location: Lafayette, LA
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support critical project initiatives. This role will play a key part in aligning materials, processes, and tools across sites to ensure smooth operations and standardized service levels. Key Responsibilities
- Support overall project timelines through coordination of testing, training, and process development activities.
- Harmonize JR and T&E quote tools to ensure consistency and efficiency across teams.
- Complete and support the rollout of daily metrics to all sites.
- Evaluate current service levels and develop proposals to standardize processes where applicable.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular project updates as needed.
- Previous experience in materials coordination, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience supporting project-based work and process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and locations.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to take on new projects and adapt quickly to evolving priorities.
- SAP experience is a strong plus.
