Kelly® Professional & Industrial is hiring a Mechanical Technician in Jamestown, NY. This role supports engine test cell operations for a premier automotive company. If you have hands-on experience with vehicles—especially diesel engines—and basic computer skills, this could be the job for you.

What you'll do:
• Connect and disconnect engines in a test cell environment
• Perform routine mechanical tasks
• Prepare test articles and install instrumentation
• Follow testing procedures and maintain safety and quality standards
Key Requirements
• Mechanical aptitude: Experience with cars, trucks, or diesel engines
• Ability to connect/disconnect engines in a test cell
• Basic computer skills for data entry and system interaction
• High school diploma or GED required
• Reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently
• Willing to relocate (relocation support available)
Preferred Background
• Diesel mechanic or technician experience
• Familiarity with engine testing or shop environments
• Passion for hands-on work (hobbies or projects with mechanics/machinery a plus)
Schedule
• Second Shift role
• Overtime or flexible hours may be required
