We have openings for Medical Assembler II/Technician positions in Lake Zurich IL
Job Title: Medical Assembler II/Technician
Location: Lake Zurich, IL
Pay: $20- 26/hr.
1st shift 6:00am - 2:00pm M-F
2nd shift. 2:30pm -10:30am M-F
Responsibilities
- Following quality system and all applicable SOPs
- Producing components, subassemblies, or final assemblies with minimal supervision
- Experience with Calipers, Micrometers, Scalpels, Soldering Iron, Tweezers, and Microscopes
- Produce small, assembled parts according to product specs
- Manufacturing processes to produce product include drilling, cutting, measuring, mounting
- Keep track of materials, tools and procedures as the device is manufactured
- Have good hand eye coordination and be able to work under a microscope
- Have a good basic level of mechanical ability
- Have and demonstrate good judgment
- Could maintain confidential information, in accordance with Company policy
- Work with little supervision and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist in other work-related areas as required
- Use a variety of assembly equipment and hand tools including but not limited to tweezers, razor blade, scalpel, wire cutter, clippers, needle nose pliers, screwdriver, Allen wrenches, and ring light (magnifying glass)
- Use a variety of assembly equipment including lab oven, glue dispenser, trimming lathe, and computer operated saw
- Be able to do occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
