We're seeking Mixing Technician to work with one of out top pharmaceutical industry clients at Jayuya, PR. 
Salary: 1st shift: $12.00 hr | 2nd Shift $12.15 hr | 3rd shift $12.30 hr

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have the following requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Science is required (natural science).
• Must have at least 1 year of experience within FDA regulated environment 
• Math Skills and knowledge in measurement (Caliper, Micrometer, Ruler, etc.).
• Fluent and excellent ability to write in English and Spanish
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications(MS Excel and Word)
• Available  1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift, w/e, and OT. (3rd shift availability required). There are no rotating shifts but any shift can be assigned depending on the need.

The Mixing Technician will be responsible for performs weighting and mixing process of raw material -drugs- (such as: Amino Acids, Metronidazole, Heparin, Milrinone, etc) based on available resources and activities.  This includes hydrolysis process of lactic acid.Starts machine and adjusts valves for mixing process. Operates machine until mixture reaches desired consistency as per mixing specifications. Operates auxiliary equipment to prepare mixture for final processing.
