Job Title: Packaging Operator – 3rd Shift
Location: Milford, CT
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Hourly Rate: $26.20/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating automated production machines, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring efficient production processes in a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate automated production machinery safely and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training guidelines.

  • Supply machines with components and materials to maintain continuous operations and complete shift-end filling requirements.

  • Perform product changeovers and verify bill of materials accuracy in a timely manner.

  • Respond promptly to machine stops and collaborate with mechanics for repair and maintenance.

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet established standards and maintain required documentation and shift reports.

  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

  • Maintain accurate production and inventory records and communicate effectively with team members, support departments, and leadership.

  • Complete additional packaging tasks as required to meet safety and production goals.

  • Work overtime and weekends as required; flexibility for shift changes is essential.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.

  • Follow and comprehend complex procedural and verbal instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.

  • Qualification on current and future packaging machines and equipment.

  • Maintain satisfactory safety, quality, attendance, and performance records.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Effective communication skills with peers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience operating high-speed automated production machines in a safe work environment.
