What's a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You'll be:
- Operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to transport materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Loading and unloading trucks, pallets, and production lines to ensure smooth operations.
- Performing inventory moves within the warehouse using scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Conducting daily equipment inspections and reporting any maintenance needs to ensure safety.
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas to promote an efficient working environment.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed to support team efforts.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Bring 1+ year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Are able to lift up to 50 lbs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
