About the Role

The Packaging Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient packing and repacking of meat products. You'll play a key role in ensuring all packaging meets quality and safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pack and repack meat products according to company standards and specifications

  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials

  • Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools

  • Inspect and verify containers, materials, and products to ensure correct packaging and labeling

  • Load materials and products into processing or packaging equipment

  • Mark and label containers or products using appropriate tools

  • Record product and order information accurately on designated forms

  • Remove completed or defective items and place them in designated areas or conveyors

  • Clean containers, materials, tools, and work areas to maintain sanitation standards

  • Seal containers using adhesives, fasteners, or hand tools

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

  • Ability to work in a cold environment

  • Standing, bending, and repetitive motions throughout the shift
