What's a typical day as a Machine Operator - Palletizer:
• Monitoring the production process-flow
• Removing finished products from conveyors
• Packing products in boxes, weighing up to 50lb
• Palletizing boxes at a rate of 10 or more cases per minute
• Operating an electric pallet jack
• Visually inspecting packing materials
• Recording and scanning pallet information
• Applying labels and assembling boxes
• Maintaining the production schedule
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Have at least 1 year of similar/same manufacturing experience as a Packer
• Preferably have 1 year of food manufacturing experience
• Can meet physical requirements such as standing, stretching, and lifting 2-50 lbs.
• Can work with minimal supervision
• Can perform basic mathematical calculations and operate scales
• Follow good manufacturing practices and work safely in a team environment
• Are punctual and have regular attendance
• Have attention to detail and can work in a fast-paced environment
• Can use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Can operate standard walkie equipment
• Are willing to participate in safety, health, and environmental training
• Have the ability to suggest methods for improving production or operating conditions
• Can read, understand, and follow manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures
• Can operate manufacturing equipment
• Can follow Food Safety and Quality control points
• Can effectively communicate with team members
• Adhere to site Hygienic Zoning policy
• Can be trained in Lockout Tagout and lock machinery out

¿Cómo es un día típico como Operador de Máquina - Paletizador? Estarás:
• Monitoreando el flujo del proceso de producción
• Retirando productos terminados de las cintas transportadoras
• Empacando productos en cajas, con un peso de hasta 50 lb
• Paletizando cajas a una velocidad de 10 o más casos por minuto
• Operando una transpaleta eléctrica
• Inspeccionando visualmente los materiales de embalaje
• Registrando y escaneando información de los palets
• Aplicando etiquetas y ensamblando cajas
• Manteniendo el cronograma de producción
Este trabajo podría ser perfecto para ti si:
• Tienes un diploma de escuela secundaria o GED
• Tienes al menos 1 año de experiencia en manufactura similar/como Empacador
• Preferiblemente tienes 1 año de experiencia en manufactura de alimentos
• Puedes cumplir con los requisitos físicos como estar de pie, estirarse y levantar de 2 a 50 lb
• Puedes trabajar con supervisión mínima
• Puedes realizar cálculos matemáticos básicos y operar básculas
• Sigues buenas prácticas de manufactura y trabajas de manera segura en un entorno de equipo
• Eres puntual y tienes asistencia regular
• Tienes atención al detalle y puedes trabajar en un entorno rápido
• Puedes usar el Equipo de Protección Personal (EPP) adecuado
• Puedes operar equipos de transpaleta estándar
• Estás dispuesto a participar en capacitación de seguridad, salud y medio ambiente
• Tienes la capacidad de sugerir métodos para mejorar la producción o las condiciones de operación
• Puedes leer, entender y seguir los Procedimientos Operativos Estándar de manufactura
• Puedes operar equipos de manufactura
• Puedes seguir los puntos de Control de Seguridad Alimentaria y Calidad
• Puedes comunicarte eficazmente con los miembros del equipo
• Te adhieres a la política de Zonificación Higiénica del sitio
• Puedes recibir capacitación en Bloqueo y Etiquetado y bloquear maquinaria
