We're seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to work with our client, a large university in Minneapolis, MN.
Perks of joining the team:
- Pay rate of $23.70/hour
- Tuesday – Thursday within the hours of 8 am to 4:30 pm. Approximately 20 hours per week.

As a Part-Time Administrative Assistant, you will:
- Assist with meeting logistics and materials (mailings, nametags, AV, catering, parking, etc.).
- Assist leadership with meeting arrangements; prepare materials and PowerPoint slides; provide technical support for presentations; record and produce meeting minutes if requested.
- Work with leadership, staffing and administrative support across several departments and units. Interact with staff to plan, request forms, attend and/or manage events. Follow up as necessary with sponsors, patients, leadership, and staff. Travel between two Minneapolis locations (as necessary).
- Assist with events, programming, and activities.
- Prepare letters, print, and assemble meeting materials.
- Data entry projects such as entering and tracking information.
- Create and maintain electronic files, both physical and digital.
- Correspond via telephone and email regarding upcoming events or meetings with internal and external teams.
Required Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of previous administrative assistant experience
- Ability to lift 20-25 pounds when assisting with events
- Ability to perform with competence in high-pressure situations and rapidly changing environment, to multitask and work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize office work and coordinate with others.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office, Google applications; Google Docs, Gmail, Drives, and Calendar
- Ability to travel between two nearby locations, as needed.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and prioritize work
